since I last updated my blog. Many things took place and yeah, I was really busy. I know it's late but Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my friends who visited my blog. I'm really sorry. Since I'm really free from now I guess I should get myself a job to keep me occupied. Staying at home all day is boring.
And since dota is really boring, my friends here who are fans of dota can try this map for warcraft 3, called Hands Of Sorrow Knight. (available at www.hoskmap.com) It allows the player to level up 49 times, and not to mention each hero creation is up to the player him/herself.
To those who are in the first 3 months Junior Collage program, how was it? Did you have fun? It must suck to wake up so early in the morning right? Hope you enjoy yourself then.
Soon I will be busy with my pc watercooling and airbrushing, so until then, see ya!

Well, finally the O level's examinations are over....now it's time to relax and enjoy my holidays. I think I did pretty well for my examinations and definately hope to be able to achieve my target, which is 9points on my certificate when I recieve it next year March. Since its the holidays, I am thinking of doing these:
1. Prepare for the upcoming vr-zone lanparty
2. Buy a pair of Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3 in-ear monitors
3. Case modding
4. Vacation overseas
5. Some random stuffs with my friends
Looks like I would be a bit busy......anyways, to all student who just finished their O level's: I wish you good luck that you will recieve good grades.
So recently in Singapore there were 32 cases of people downloading softwares and mp3s illegally. And no to mention around 8,000 of such cases reported worldwide. So most of this cases revolves around RIAA (which many claims as the enemy of the people). So, why are there still so many people turning towards piracy? I actually did a little research on online music stores. Many of these stores allows you to buy songs individually or at bundles or packs at a lower price. But what happens if after purchasing the song, I accidentally deleted the song? Well, the answer is that you will have to buy the song again.
Many people must think that this is ridiculous, but it's true. When you buy songs online, you don't buy the licence of the song, you are just paying for the mp3 file that the store allows you to download LEGALLY, which is no different from a mp3 file you get from free sources, such as p2p softwares like Ares, Limewire and Bittorrent. And definately people won't pay around SGD18~20 to pay for a album when you just want one song among the 10~20 tracks in the disc.
Maybe music stores should just allow people to pick the songs they want and then after that get them compiled in a disc for them to bring home. At least if he or she accidentally deletes the song from his or her computer he or she can still retrieve it from the disc. Well, but that is impossible. All those publishers out there just want to make as much money as possible and probably won't even agree to such an idea which will deem ridiculous to them.
Oh well, if that's the case, piracy will definately preserver. And on which side am i on? Of course piracy. I am not being cheapskate by downloading things for free, but if I don't get to purchase the licence of the song itself but just the mp3 file, I might as well download the same mp3 file for free and not fear having to pay if I were to accidentally delete the file.
I have friend who shares a same name as me (Calvin, but mine is just an alias). So today, my friend called me by my alias infront of this "calvin" guy. And guess what he said, "Oh! You meant that FAKE CALVIN?" Being a civilised person, unlike that barbarian, I chose not to argue with him. Just to muse to myself, what a retard he is, getting worked up over such a trivia matter. So what if I have an alias which is the same as his name? Is that illegal? No right? So retards like him should just keep quiet and accept the fact that someone's got an alias thats that same as his name.
Another retard I ran into recently was at orchard road. As usual, I was hanging out with my friends. As we were walking down the road in front of Ngee Ann City (which many retarded people refer as Taka, which is dumb), there's this man, who noticed my phone (which is pretty exotic over here in Singapore) approached me. He was shooting me with all sorts of questions regarding the phone which I answered and then he asked if I could let him take a closer look at my phone. When I refused, he asked again in a louder voice, treating me like a salesperson at a mobilephone store. What is this? A retarded person mistaking me as a salesperson in the middle of a street? What a joke this is. So my friends and I simply walked off, laughing at how retarded that man was.
The problem is that I have run into so many retards, some worse than those 2 above. Why are there so many people born retarded? They make life of others difficult and unhappy. These retards should just die or be isolated. They shouldn't be living with normal people, in case they make normal people become retarded too.
My father was feeling sleep while driving to Malacca to switch his Malaysian registered car for his Singapore registered car so that we can return to Singapore. But to this carelessness, he hit a barricade at the side of the road, and this was the result:
So in the end, my father managed to contact the traffic police. And I decided to take some random shots.
Well, after a while of waiting, our savior is here....since the car was undamaged except for the 2 wheels, the traffic police brought us a pair of wheels and rims to get the damaged ones replaced.
